We had a great time in Gatlinburge Tenn. from last Thursday to Saturday. Chris Hill, Clint Thomas (Chaos Theory), Eddie James did the Praise & Worship. Clint Thomas spoke about the culture that our teens live in and the venom the enemy injects into all our lives to think for themselves. Chris Hill spoke about “Follow the Cloud not the Crowd” and “Tag your it”. Eddie James as always did a great job in leading us into the presence of God. We had two saved and many filled with the Holy Ghost, all renewed their relationship with God. As many Adults was blessed, stirred, and set free from many things. I praise God as pastor to be able to go. Thanks to all the youth ministers and Workers that went, may God richly bless you is my prayer.  GOD BLESS YOU!
 

Psm 119:130 The entrance of thy word gives light….

This word light means understanding, revelation. The more you study the word the more light understanding of the word you have. Should we be studying more? THINK ABOUT IT!

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth(word), and the truth shall make you free.

You need to read v-31 to really understand that Jesus was talking about His word. Its not truth alone that makes you free the the truth you know(revelation), that makes you free. He speaks about being His disciple in v 31 and to continue in His word. THINK ABOUT IT!

Prv 4:22 - Says, “For they(word) are life unto those that find them, and Health to all their flesh.”

To get the full impact of what the word(sayings) will do you need to read verses 20-22 about what the Word of God will do for you. v. 22 Says, “Its Health to all their flesh” the word health there is translated medicne, deliverance, healing(Strongs concordance 4832). THINK ABOUT IT!

Psm 119:30 The entrance of thy Words give light….

Gods word that spoke the sun and moon into existence, that same word will give light(spiritual light) to us. Read Gods word it will give us light. THINK ABOUT IT!

Psm 107:20 God sent His Word and healed them ….

Healing is in the Word, Plant the word in your mind and spirit and watch what happens. THINK ABOUT IT!

Gal 6:7 Do no be deceived, God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

What are you sowing? This covers ever area of our lives, spirit, soul, body. Don’t lie to yourself whatever you sow will grow. THINK ABOUT IT! 

1Pet 1:23 We are born again not of corruptible  seed but incorruptible,  through the word of God which lives and abides forever.

How do we get born again? By the Word of God. If you look up the word seed in the Strongs Concordance you will find that this word is translated sperm. The word is planted (by preaching, teaching, etc) into the womb of the spirit of a person and a child of God is conceived. THINK ABOUT IT!

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance:

We hear alot about gifts of the Spirit and thats wonderful I belive in them, but what about Fruit of the Spirit? Where does fruit come from? A tree. Where does the tree come from? A seed. Gods Word is seed according to Lk 8:11. Need Fruit of the Spirit in your life? Start planting the seed for it, the Word. Start planting the Word for Fruit. THINK ABOUT IT!

Lk 8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the Word of God.

The SEED is the WORD of GOD, this is a very plain statment by Jesus about what the Word is, its a seed.

What do you do with a seed?  You plant it. Where? In the dirt, what did God make man from? The dirt. If you plant  it will grow. Put the seed of the Word in you mind, (Rom 12:2) watch how you grow in God. THINK ABOUT IT!
