Praise is powerful

In Acts 16:16-34 Paul and Silas was in prison for casting the devil out of a young girl. They were beaten and their feet were locked in chains. Verse 25 says that at midnight Paul and Silas prayed & sang praises unto God and the prisoners heard them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened and every one’s bands were loosed.

Look at the power of prayer and praise! They was not going by their feelings, they were hurting from the beating. But they knew God and was praising Him not matter what the situation was, we can learn a lesson from this. They were praising God because they loved Him, what a novel idea. Praise is powerful it can unlock your prison for you, what is your prison? THINK ABOUT IT!

TIME TO AWAKE OUT OF SLEEP

AS I LOOK AROUND I SEE A COUNTRY AND PEOPLE THAT NEED TO AWAKE OUT OF SLEEP. Rom 13:11-14 (Message bible) But make sure that you don’t get so absorbed and exhausted in taking care of all your day to day obligations that you lose track of the time and doze off, oblivious to God. Have we gotten so busy with the day to day business that we have forgotten God? THINK ABOUT IT!

The visit

Jesus visited the earth as a man, people didn’t recognize Him for who he was, the Son of God. Do we know when Jesus visits us? Joseph knocked on the door of the innkeeper, he didn’t know that Mary was the mother of the Son of God or he would have given his room. We never know who is knocking on our door. Will you recognize Jesus when He comes to you? THINK ABOUT IT!

WAKE UP CALL

Haggai 1:1-4 God told Judah to Consider your ways. Judah had let apathy enter their relationship with God. They didn’t finish the temple, They made excuses why they had’nt finished the temple, They had become happy where they were. THINK ABOUT IT!

WAKE UP CALL

Romans 13:11 And that knowing the time now it is high time to awake out of sleep for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

God is saying to the church “Wake Up” spiritually we have been put to sleep and we must have a spiritual awakening. Put God first in everything we do, this message will be heard more and more in these last days preached around the world by ministers.

ONLY WAY TO SALVATION

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Yesterday I talked about what the word salvation means. Today I want to talk to you about the New Birth, Born Again, Saved. There is no New Birth, without the name of Jesus, the name Jesus is given to us to be born again by. Without this name you CANNOT BE BORN AGAIN! THINK ABOUT IT!

SALVATION

The word Salvation has alot of meaning, such as healing, peace, protection, deliverance, and many other. “For all the meanings look up the word in the Strongs concordance”. We could say it this way and not violate the word, “Neither is there healing in any other; for there is none other name under heaven whereby we must be healed”. THINK ABOUT IT!

JESUS IS THE SEED

Jn 12:23-24 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Jesus was saying he was the seed that must die but, would rise again and bear much fruit. Jesus is the seed we are the fruit that He bore when He raised from the dead. Every time someone is saved Jesus is bearing fruit. THINK ABOUT IT!

SEED AND DIRT

Galations 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Whatever you sow in your life will grow! Dirt has no choice but to grow whats sown in it. WHAT ARE WE SOWING IN OUR DIRT(LIVES-SPIRIT, SOUL, & BODY). THINK ABOUT IT!

Don’t Limit God

Psm 78:41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy On of Israel.

Do we limit God in what He does for us? Yes, God is able to do more, but like Israel we limit God. Let us take the limits off God, He want to save the lost, heal the sick, do great things but we limit Him. THINK ABOUT IT!
